Bushiroad has released character visuals and cast comments for three new characters in their new mixed-media project titled Road59: Shin Jidai Ninkyō Tokku (Road59: The Special Ward for a New Era of Chivalry). Taiyo Ayukawa portrays Yuuto Kirimiya and Kohei Yamamoto portrays Shigure Toudou of Shinonome-gumi. Wakana Kingyo portrays Suzuka Himuro of Hakurō-gumi.
The project is yakuza themed.
It is the company's fourth major mixed-media project after BanG Dream!, Revue Starlight, and D4DJ.

YUUTO KIRIMIYA (ACT. TAIYO AYUKAWA)
Although he is the youngest member of the Shinonome-gumi, he has been in the care of the clan since he was a child and has a long history. He has a mysterious charm that makes him feel at ease with everyone, and the residents of Tenkai-ku are friendly to him. He hopes to someday repay his fellow members of the Shinonome-gumi for giving him a place in their lives.

SHIGURE TOUDOU (ACT. KOHEI YAMAMOTO)
He is usually aloof, but thinks more about his members than anyone else, and sometimes gives them advice as the eldest member of the Shinonome-gumi. His wife and child were killed in a past feud, and while he lives in a causal world where blood washes blood, he has doubts about his way of life.
Kohei Yamamoto Comment:
It's a great honor to be a part of this new project with such a great cast. First of all, I'm going to play my character Shigure Todo in my first performance in December, and I'm going to do my best to live out the new world as my character Shigure Todo. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in December.
SUZUKA HIMURO (ACT. WAKANA KINGYO)
The younger sister of Shō and Shizuka, an energetic and bright high school girl. Unlike her older brother and sister, she does not have the heavy responsibilities of the group and grows up freely and spontaneously. She often annoys Shō by being selfish and wanting to be pampered by her brother. Under the influence of Jingi's power, she has the strength to knock down large men, despite her appearance.

ROAD59 is a new interpretation of "chivalry", so I'm looking forward to seeing how the story of the organization progresses! The Hakurō-gumi has a strong family-like bond. We're going to work hard together with Himuro Suzuka! Best regards!

The setting's story is set in the near future, a few decades after the start of Japan's current Reiwa era, and is set in a new manmade island and "special ward" in Tokyo known as the Tengai Ward. Here, four yakuza organizations vie for prestige and influence, with each organization's leading figures bearing god-like powers as "Jingi." Each of the organizations seek the "Yamatanoorochi no Kubi" (The Head of Orochi) whose blood when consumed grants Jingi a power equal to gods, as well as a girl who bears the Orochi blood and can break the seal on the ancient artifact.
Jingi are individuals who have passed on their supernatural powers from sire to successor since the age of myth. They pass on their power to chosen successors, with their sire offering their blood in a cup in a formal ceremony. In the past, they have made their mark on the secret world by slaying mythical beasts, and performing incredible feats on the battlefield, and have sometimes clashed with each other in the shadows. As the ages pass, they adapt their form to the times, and today they operate in secret societies in the underworld. With ancient powers able to bend the rules of space and time, they are demigod-like beings.
