Funimation has announced that Hiroko Utsumi and Bones' original collaboration TV anime series SK8 the Infinity will be joining their 2021 Winter Season lineup.
SK8 the Infinity begins its simulcast on January 8. The series will stream on Funimation in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland; on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand; and on Wakanim in France, Germany and Scandinavia.
Rude-α will be performing the opening theme song titled "Paradise." Yūri will be performing the ending theme song titled, "Infinity."
They've also revealed that Yūsuke will perform an insert song for the character Reki titled "Seize the Moment!!." Konnie Aoki is writing the lyrics, and Orange Range's NAOTO is composing and arranging the song.

Ash da Hero will be performing an insert song for the character Langa titled "Dimensions of the Wind." Konnie Aoki is again writing the lyrics and MEG and Raito are composing and arranging the song.
SK8 the Infinity is set to premiere on ABC TV and TV Asahi's "ANiMAZiNG!!!" programming block starting on January 9.

The anime centers on Reki, a second-year high school student who loves skateboarding, and gets caught up in "S," an underground and dangerous skateboard race at an abandoned mine with no rules. Ranga, who has returned to Japan from Canada and has never skateboarded before, also gets wrapped up in S along with Reki. Dirty racers, AI racers, and other unique individuals compete in the "youth skateboard race battle."
Aniplex of America is licensing the series.
