The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki's Dr. Stone manga has released a new key visual and trailer for the second season, Dr. Stone: Stone Wars.
Dr. STONE is based on the Shonen Jump manga of the same name written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired and describes it as:
Several thousand years after a mysterious phenomenon that turns all of humanity to stone, the extraordinarily intelligent, science-driven boy, Senku Ishigami, awakens. Facing a world of stone and the total collapse of civilization, Senku makes up his mind to use science to rebuild the world. The Second Season of Dr. Stone will premiere January 14 as part of Crunchyroll's 2021 Winter Season lineup. Funimation has also announced that the English Dub of the Second Season of Dr. Stone will premiere as part of their 2021 Winter Season lineup.
