The official website for the IDOLiSH7 franchise has announced that the anime is getting a third season. More information will be released at a later time.
TROYCA will continue to work on the anime's production in the third season.
The second season's original soundtrack album "BEYOND THE SHiNE" is set to be released on January 13, 2021.
IDOLiSH7 performed the opening theme song for Season 2 titled, "DiSCOVER THE FUTURE," and Re:vale performs the ending theme song titled, "Mirai Notes o Kanadete" (Play the Notes of the Future).
The first episode of Season 2 premiered early on January 6. The rest of the season premiered on April 5. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan. The anime was delayed with the fifth episode due to COVID-19.
