Funimation has announced that the TV anime adaptation of Yūki Yaku's Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki (Jaku-chara Tomozaki-kun) light novel series will be joining their 2021 Winter Season lineup.
Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki begins its simulcast on January 8. The series will stream on Funimation in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Ireland; on AnimeLab in Australia and New Zealand; and on Wakanim in France, Germany and Scandinavia.
Voice actress idol group DIALOGUE+ will be performing the anime's opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is titled "Jinsei Easy?" (Life Is on Easy Mode?), and the ending theme song is titled "Ayafuwa Asterisk."

Shinsuke Yanagi is directing the anime at Project No. 9. Fumihiko Shimo is writing the scripts, and Akane Yano is in charge of designing the characters. Hiromi Mizutani as the music composer, Pony Canyon and APDREAM as music producers, Satoshi Motoyama as the audio director, Bit Groove Promotion for the sound production, and Dream Shift as producer.
