POWER SPOTS: THE JAPANESE "MAGICAL" PLACES!
A new trend has appeared in the 2000s in Japan, the "Power Spots." Basically, this term was invented by a medium in the '90s to talk about where you get energy from the earth. Today, the word has become rather vague. Power Spots are places where you can feel good vibes and feel positive energy. These places are often located in the middle of nature or in temples and shrines.
At first, the Japanese did not really believe in Power Spots and their benefits, but eventually, the idea of these wellness spots came back into Japanese culture. Nowadays, it has become quite popular to spend a weekend in a Power Spot to relax and get a shot of energy. There are also plenty of spots known for the girls who want to get married and have more luck in the process.
Yakushima Island and Biwa Lake are some of the most famous Power Spots, here are some details about them:
YAKUSHIMA (KAGOSHIMA PREFECTURE)
Yakushima is an island that is part of the Osumi archipelago, in the south of Kyushu. On this island nature predominates, with a forest called "Princess Mononoke Foreset." Hayao Miyazaki was inspired by this place for the eponymous movie. There is also a tree called "Jomon Sugi," 3000 years old. Facing this tree, it seems that you can feel a lot of energy. The island has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993.
BIWA LAKE (SHIGA PREFECTURE)
It is the largest lake in Japan! It has been around for at least 4 million years! With the immensity of the lake and the surrounding nature, you can already feel a special energy going around. But mostly, one of the 3 islands located there, is well known for being a Power Spot: Chikubu-shima. It has long been said that the gods remain on this island. It is therefore a popular place of prayer for the inhabitants of the area. The island is formed by only one huge rock and several temples.

The Kero plushie is so cute! I really like the Maneki-neko pouch. I received the blue one. I really like the material it's made of. I think the Ram figure is the largest one I've received in a box so far. I really liked this box quite a bit.
