The manga is an official sequel to the anime and takes place sometime after the John Walker case. Several new characters are featured, in addition to most of the main cast from the anime.
The manga is set to be published physically and digitally in February 2021.
After the conclusion of the John Walker case, the Kura moves on. Always a new case to solve, Sakaido dives into another id well and into another mystery. But what starts as a routine open-and-shut case quickly spirals into something much, much bigger...
