It has been announced that Mayu Murata's Honey Lemon Soda manga is getting a live-action film adaptation. Snow Man male idol group member Raul will be starring in the film as Kai Miura, a young man with trademark lemon-colored hair. Costarring in the film is Ai Yoshikawa as Uka Ishimori.
Kōji Shintoku is directing the film.
The film is set to premiere in summer 2021.
Fifteen-year-old Ishimori Uka is a very shy girl that can't stand being in front of someone. One day she meets a boy on the streets who's just as refreshing as lemon soda. He helped her when she was bullied and that boy made her wanting to change so she can properly express herself.
