The official website and Twitter account for the stage play adaptation of Natsuki Kizu's Given manga has announced that the play has been rescheduled for November 2021.
The stage play was originally set to open in August and September of this year, but all performances were canceled due to COVID-19.
The site states, "Receiving enthusiastic support from everyone, the stage play 'given' is decided to be performed in November 2021! Over the next year, we will continue to build up band practice and others. Please stay tuned."

Fumiya Matsuzaki is directing the play. The anime's scriptwriter Yuniko Ayana is writing the play's script as well.

That was until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly met Mafuyu Sato. Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music in his everyday life, but then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time. The song resonates with his heart and the distance between them starts to change.
