The official website and Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima and Monda's Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs (Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai Desu) light novel series has announced that the series is getting a second season.
Kazuya Miura and Shin'ichi Fukumoto are directing the anime at ENGI. Kenta Ihara is in charge of the series scripts, and Masahiko Suzuki is designing the characters.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the light novel in English and describes the first volume as:

Trapped in a Dating Sim Season 1 premiered on April 3, 2022 on AT-X and Tokyo MX, then on April 4 on Yomiuri TV and BS NTV.
The opening theme song titled, "Silent Minority" was performed by Kashitaro Ito, who also wrote and composed the song.
The ending theme song titled, "selfish" was performed by anisong singer Riko Azuna.
