Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine has announced the main cast and staff, as well as released the first key visual, for the live-action TV drama adaptation of Wataru Hinekure and Aruko's My Love Mix-Up! (Kieta Hatsukoi) manga.
Snow Man member Ren Meguro is cast as Ida, and Naniwa Danshi member Shunsuke Michieda is cast as Aoki.
The live-action adaptation will premiere in October 2021 in Japan.
Shōgo Kusano and Tadaaki Hōrai are directing the series, with scripts by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. Harumi Fuuki is composing the music for the series.
Viz Media will publish the first volume in October and describes the series as:
Aoki has a crush on Hashimoto, the girl in the seat next to him in class. But he despairs when he borrows her eraser and sees she's written the name of another boy—Ida—on it. To make matters more confusing, Ida sees Aoki holding that very eraser and thinks Aoki has a crush on him!
