The official website for My Hero Academia The Ultra Stage, the stage play series adaptation of Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga, has released the main visual featuring the main cast for the My Hero Academia The Ultra Stage: Honmono no Hero Plus Ultra Ver. (A True Hero Plus Ultra Ver.) stage play.
The second stage play, My Hero Academia: The Ultra Stage: Honmono no Hero (A True Hero), was scheduled to open at the Shingawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo from March 6-22, and at the Umeda Arts Theater Drama City in Osaka from March 27 to April 5. Most performances were canceled due to COVID-19.
Hiroki Iino and Tsuyoshi Hayashi who has originally been cast as Tenya Iida and All Might True Form, respectively, have been confirmed to graduate. Naoki Takeshi is newly cast as Iida and Tasuku Yoshioka is cast as All Might.
The other main cast members, including Shin Tamura (Izuku Midoriya), Ryota Kobayashi (Katsuki Bakugou), and Yume Takeuchi (Ochaco Uraraka), are all reprising their roles.
The new schedule shows that "My Hero Academia The 'Ultra' Stage Honmono no Hero: PLUS ULTRA ver." is set to be performed at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL in Tokyo from December 3-12, 2021, then later on at The Kyoto Theater in Kyoto from December 24-26.

The stage play was supposed to return as the "PLUS ULTRA ver." and open from July 17-26, 2020 at the Tokyo Dome City Hall, but all 14 shows were canceled due to COVID-19.
My Hero Academia: The Ultra Stage: Honmono no Hero PLUS ULTRA ver. is the "complete version" of the play.
All cast and staff will be returning for the new opening in 2021. Returning staff includes: Tsuneyasu Motoyoshi as director, Hideyuki Nishimori as scriptwriter, Shunsuke Wada as composer, and Umebō as choreographer.
