The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Kanata Yanagino and Kususaga Rin's The Faraway Paladin (Saihate no Paladin) light novel series has released a new promotional video that previews the anime's opening theme song. They've also announced some new cast and released new character art.

Yuu Nobuta is directing the anime at Children's Playground Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi is overseeing the series scripts, and Koji Haneda is designing the characters.
The anime's opening theme song titled, "The Sacred Torch" is performed by H-el-ical//.
The anime's ending theme song titled, "Shirushibi" is performed by Nagi Yanagi.
The anime is set to premiere on October 9, 2021. Crunchyroll will stream the series.
