Fuji TV has announced that Natsuki Kizu's Given manga is getting a 6-episode live-action drama that will premiere on their FOD (Fuji TV on Demand) streaming service on July 17, 2021.
The drama stars Jin Suzuki as Ritsuka Uenoyama, Sanari as Mafuyu Sato, Kai Inowaki as Akihiko Kaji, and Shuntaro Yanagi as Haruki Nakayama.
Koichiro Miki is writing and directing the drama.
The anime series is also getting a new episode titled, given: Uragawa no Sonzai (The Existence of The Back Side), which tells a "back side" story between Mafuyu and Ritsuka that wasn't shown in GIVEN The Movie.
The episode will be included in the DVD bonus of the limited edition of Volume 7 of the manga set to be released in Japan on December 1, 2021.
