Sony Music Japan has released a live performance clip of Masayuki Suzuki's song "Love Dramatic feat. Ihara Rikka," which is the opening theme song for Season 1 of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime.
The live performance was filmed at his solo concert at NHK Hall in Tokyo on June 7, 2019, as part of his national tour "Masayuki Suzuki taste of martini tour 2019 Funky Flag Love Parade." Ihara Rikka made a guest appearance on the stage.
"Love Dramatic feat. Ihara Rikka" was released in Japan on February 27, 2019, as his first anime theme song work in his career. The CD single ranked 13th in Oricon's weekly single sales chart, and its digital single track became gold with 100,000 downloads.
Masayuki Suzuki had also performed the anime's opening theme song for Season 2. He's known as the "King of Love Songs."
Funimation summarizes the series as:
Known for being both brilliant and powerful, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya lead the illustrious Shuchiin Academy as near equals. And everyone thinks they’d make a great couple. Pride and arrogance are in ample supply, so the only logical move is to trick the other into instigating a date! Who will come out on top in this psychological war where the first move is the only one that matters?
