The official website for the television anime of Shu and Yoshinori Shizuma's The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants (Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha ~Shijō Saikyō no Maō no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkō e Kayō) light novel series has revealed that Tomori Kusunoki is making her solo debut by performing the anime's ending theme song.
The ending theme song is titled, "Hamidashimono," which literally means "misfit."
The digital release is on July 11. Her four-song first CD "Hamidashimono" will be released on August 19, 2020. Three of the songs on the CD are written and composed by the artist herself.
CIVILIAN's opening theme song is titled, "Seikai Fusaikai" (Correct Incorrect).
The anime was orignally set to premiere in April, but has been rescheduled to premiere on July 4 after being delayed due to COVID-19.

Shin Oonuma is the chief director for the anime. Masafumi Tamura is the director with Mirai Minato as the assistant director. SILVER LINK is producing the animation. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi is adapting Yoshinori Shizuma's original character designs for animation. Jin Tanaka is writing the scripts. Ryousuke Naya is the sound director, and Keiji Inai is composing the music.
