Bandai Namco Entertainment America has released a video for Bandai Namco Studios' Scarlet Nexus RPG that previews the game's animation.IGN has also released a gameplay interview video with Director Kenji Anabuki, which was streamed during their Summer of Gaming 2020 live stream.
Scarlet Nexus will launch on PS5, PS4, and PC, in addition to Xbox Series X and Xbox One.
The former developers of the Tales of series are developing Scarlet Nexus. Keita Iizuka, producer of Code Vein, is producing the game.
Players become the protagonist, Yuito Sumeragi, and use psycho-kinetic abilities to fight the Others.
The game's setting is "a futuristic Japanese landscape that combines inspirations from classic anime and western science fiction."
Producer, Keita Iizuka from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc said, “Players can expect visuals and psychic battles with high resolution and frame rate along with fully interactive real-time battles with dynamic animation. Utilizing Smart Delivery on Xbox Series X also means players can enjoy the best version of SCARLET NEXUS regardless of whether they are playing on the next generation with Xbox Series X or Xbox One.”
