The official Twitter account for the Sword Art Online anime has released the illustrated CD jacket cover for the opening theme song to the upcoming War of Underworld arc.
The opening theme song, sung by Haruka Tomatsu (Asuna's Japanese VA), is titled "Resolution."
The song will be released November 20, 2019. The cover art is drawn by Asuna.
The anime will premiere in the US on October 12, 2019 via Funimation.
In Japan, the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and MBS on October 12, streaming on Abema TV also on October 12. The next day, October 13, it will premiere on AT-X, and then on TV Aichi on October 15.
