Funimation has released a new trailer for the upcoming anime based on Suu Minazuki's Plunderer manga. The trailer was revealed at the New York Comic Con, along with two more English dub casting announcements.
New cast members include Elizabeth Maxwell as Lynn May (Japanese VA Ari Ozawa) and Austin Tindle as Pele Popolo (Japanese VA Aoi Ichikawa)
The anime's opening theme will be performed by Miku Ito, titled "Plunderer." Rina Honnizumi will perform the ending theme song titled, "Countless Days."
Plunderer is set to premiere in January 2020.
Yen Press, who publishes the manga, describes the series as:
It's the year 305 of the Alcian calendar, and the world is controlled by numbers. Every human born is branded with a "Count,” which could mean anything from the number of kilometers walked to the amount of people who have said your food is tasty. And if your Count drops to 0… you'll be sent into the Abyss! After Hina's mother's Count dropped to 0, her last request is for Hina to look for the Legendary Red Baron.
