m-flo and J. Balvin have released the main music video for their song "HUMAN LOST feat. J. Balvin," which is the theme song for the upcoming anime film Human Lost.
The film will premiere in the United States before Japan. Funimation will screen the film in theaters October 22-23, 2019. The English subtitled version will be screened October 22 and the English dubbed version will screen October 23. A global release is set for sometime in October and November.
The film is an adaptation of Osamu Dazai's No Longer Human novel. The original Ningen Shikkaku novel follows a young man's deepening alienation from the rest of the world around him, despite attempts at appearing cheerful.
The music video, released this week, looks to exist within the world of Human Lost, matching the animation style and setting of the upcoming film. J. Balvin and m-flo members Verbal, Taku Takahashi and Lisa are all thoughtfully recreated in this world via top notch 3D CG and appear throughout the video performing the song.
Their animated performances are threaded with scenes from Human Lost, which continues to look breathtaking thanks to the work of director Fuminori Kizaki and character designer Yusuke Kozaki. [Funimation]
