Inoue had this to say about his casting:
I have never played a villain on a stage such as a musical, so I'm very excited to play "Nine", the most evil enemy I got this time, and I'd like to play it more drastically than ever before I think!

Imada comments on her casting as Slice:
When I read the script for the first time, it was the same as when I read the manga! This time, I will challenge the voice movie animation for the first time, but I would like to do my best so that I can play the role of a cool, beautiful, Slice that is not in the original. And I'm really looking forward to completing this exciting story and I want everyone to look forward to it!
