The official wesbite and Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia manga has announced that the series is getting a seventh season. A new teaser trailer and visual have been released with the announcement. They've also announced that Romi Park will be joining the series as Star and Stripe.

My Hero Academia Season 6 premiered on October 1, 2022. The anime ran for two consecutive cours. The Season 6 English dub premiered on Crunchyroll on October 15, 2022. The second cour premiered January 7, 2023. The "Dark Hero Arc" premiered February 11. The "climax" of the "Dark Hero Arc," aired across three episodes on March 11, 18, and 25.
The first opening theme song titled, "Hitamuki" was performed by SUPER BEAVER.
The first ending theme song titled, "SKETCH" was performed by Kiro Akiyama.
The second opening theme titled, "Bokura no" was performed by Eve.
The second ending theme titled, "Kita Kaze" was performed by SIX LOUNGE.
Season 6 adapted the "Paranormal Liberation War" arc from the original manga.
