Crunchyroll has released a new trailer for the season finale of the second season of the TV anime adaptation of Aneko Yusagi's The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel series.
MADKID performs the opening theme song titled, "Bring Back."
Chiai Fujikawa performs the ending theme song titled, "Yuzurenai."
Kana Hanazawa was cast as the new character of Ost Horai. Miyu Tomita was cast as Kizuna Kazayama.
Season 2 of the anime was postponed from its original October 2021 premiere to April 2022. They'd stated the postponement is due to "various reason."
Crunchyroll streams the new season as it airs in Japan. The Rising of the Shield Hero II is available to Crunchyroll members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 premiered April 6 on AT-X and also runs on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11.

Masato Jinbo is directing the second season at Kinema Citrus and DR MOVIE, replacing Takao Abo. Keigo Koyanagi is again in charge of series composition. Masahiro Suwa is again adapting Seira Minami's original character designs for animation. Kevin Penkin is returning to compose the music.
