The official website and Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Koshi Tachibana and Tsunako's Date A Live light novel series has announced that the series is getting a fifth season titled, Date A Live V. They've also released a new illustration by original character designer Tsunako with the announcement.
Date A Live IV premiered on April 8, 2022. Crunchyroll streamed Date A Live IV as part of their Spring 2022 season lineup.
Date A Live IV had been delayed from it's original October 2021 premiere date for "various reasons."
Miyu Tomita performed the opening theme song titled, "OveR."
sweet ARMS perfored the ending theme song titled, "S.O.S."

Yumiri Hanamori joined the cast as DEM's newest fighter Nibelcole. Her character debuted in Episode 9 on May 27.
Jun Nakagawa directed the anime at Geek Toys. Fumihiko Shimo oversaw the series scripts, Naoto Nakamura designed the characters, and Go Sakabe returned from the previous three anime to compose the music.

Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake.
