The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Wataru Watanabe's Yowamushi Pedal manga has announced that the anime's 5th season, Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK, is set for an October 2022 premiere date.
Daiki Yamashita and Tsubasa Yonaga will reprise their roles as Sakamichi Onoda and his rival, Sangaku Manami, respectively.
TMS Entertainment will provide animation production.
Season 5 will air on NHK.

Onoda Sakamichi is a rather timid, anime-loving first-year student at Sohoku High School. Upon entering high school, he tried to join the anime research club, but after meeting Imaizumi Shunsuke, a renowned cyclist since middle school, and Naruko Shoukichi, who swept the Kansai cycling championship, he ended up joining the competitive cycling club.
