KADOKAWA has released a new Filo character trailer in preparation for the Second Season of the TV anime adaptation of Aneko Yusagi's The Rising of the Shield Hero light novel series.
Season 2 of the anime will be postponed from its original October 2021 premiere to April 2022. They've stated the postponement is due to "various reason."
Crunchyroll will also stream the new season as it airs in Japan. The Rising of the Shield Hero II will be available to Crunchyroll members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

Masato Jinbo is directing the second season at Kinema Citrus and DR MOVIE, replacing Takao Abo. Keigo Koyanagi is again in charge of series composition. Masahiro Suwa is again adapting Seira Minami's original character designs for animation. Kevin Penkin is returning to compose the music.
