The official website for the live-action film adaptation of Mayu Murata's Honey Lemon Soda manga has released a teaser trailer introducing the main cast.
They've also announced the additional cast that play Kai and Uka's classmates.
■ Mayu Hotta plays the role of Serina Kanno, a beautiful girl who is the talk of the town at school, but who is actually Kai's ex-girlfriend and Uka's rival.
■ Tatsuomi Hamada plays Tomoya Takamine, who is a good friend to Kai and has a mysterious charm.
■ Ryota Bando plays Satoru Seto, a boyish character who brings excitement to everyone.
■ Natsumi Okamoto plays Ayumi Endo, a cheerful and lively girl who becomes Uka's best friend.
Fifteen-year-old Ishimori Uka is a very shy girl that can't stand being in front of someone. One day she meets a boy on the streets who's just as refreshing as lemon soda. He helped her when she was bullied and that boy made her wanting to change so she can properly express herself.
Snow Man male idol group member Raul will be starring in the film as Kai Miura, a young man with trademark lemon-colored hair. Costarring in the film is Ai Yoshikawa as Uka Ishimori.
Kōji Shintoku is directing the film.
The film is set to premiere July 9, 2021 in Japan.
