Yūma Uchida, the voice of Ramune, is performing the opening theme song titled, "SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!"
Crunchyroll has translated a comment from Yūma Uchida:
"In the world of Dr. Ramune, there is an ailment called a 'mysterious disease' which is caused by the mind. The theme of this work is how to release those things that are stored in the mind, such as hesitation and worries, and help them make better choices.
The song 'SHAKE!SHAKE!SHAKE!' was composed to capture the feelings of characters who are suffering from these mysterious diseases and to guide them through being cured.
In the story, there are moments when the characters have to face their own hearts and minds, but when they face up to reality and look forward to it, the world is brighter, and it's a step towards a new you, that's the emotion I put into singing this song. I'm glad if you enjoyed listening to the song after watching Dr. Ramune -Mysterious Disease Specialist-."
Hideaki Oba is directing the anime at Platinum Vision, and Ayumu Hisao is supervising and writing the series scripts. Youko Satou is designing the characters. Tetsuro Oda is composing the music for the anime. Hajime Takakuwa is the sound director. Toshimitsu Kobayashi is handling the sub-character designs.
KEY VISUAL:
Crunchyroll streams the series and describes it as:
As long as hearts exist inside people, there will always be those who suffer.
And then something "strange" enters their mind and causes a strange disease to manifest itself in the body.
The illness, which is called a "mystery disease" is unknown to most, but certainly exists.
There is a doctor and apprentice who fights the disease, which modern medicine cannot cure.
His name is Ramune.
He acts freely all the time, is foul-mouthed, and doesn’t even look like a doctor!
However, once he is confronted with the mysterious disease, he is able to quickly uncover the root cause of his patients' deep-seated distress and cure them.
And beyond that...
