Funimation has announced that the TV anime adaptation of Toshio Satō and Nao Watanuki's Suppose a Kid From the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shōnen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Yō na Monogatari) light novel series will be joining their Winter 2021 anime season lineup.
The Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town TV anime has been delayed from it's original October 2020 premiere date to January 2021.

migmi is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Makoto Iino is in charge of character designs, while Deko Akao is writing the scripts. Masakazu Miyake is the art director, and Misato Aida is the color key artist. Junpei Takatsu is the compositing director of photography, with Misaki Enokida editing. Jin Aketagawa is directing the sound, and MICHIRU is composing the music.
Yen Press is publishes the novels in English, and describes the first novel volume as:
Lloyd is a novice adventurer whose dream is to discover “true strength” in the capital he's always admired, despite growing up with neighbors who always considered him weak. The story starts with him departing his hometown, which just so happens to be located right next to…one of the most dangerous dungeons in the world?!
