The official website for the anime adaptation of SIU's Tower of God webtoon series, which is one of the first eight titles in the inaugural slate of Crunchyroll Original titles, has announced a new member to the cast.
Yoko Hikasa is joining the cast as Hwa Ryun (Karen).
Yoko Hikasa's comment on the role:
"She is a mysterious character whose entire existence is an enigma. Since she is involved in the deepest parts of the story, I hope viewers will be able to watch Tower of God with their hearts pounding to find out who she is and what her purpose is."
Crunchyroll has also released a preview for Episode 6 "Position Selection."

South Korean boy band Stray Kids will be performing the opening and ending theme songs for the anime.
The opening theme song is titled "TOP-Japanese ver.-."
The ending theme song is titled "SLUMP -Japanese ver.-"
As the anime is set to premiere in Japan, Korea, and the United States simultaneously, the band has recorded the songs in each country's language: Japanese, Korean, and English.
The band's 19-year-old member Seungmin says, "We have needed a lot of preparation to record the songs in three languages, but I think it will provide opportunities to let more people know about us."
Stray Kids made their debut in Korea in March 2018 with their first EP "I Am Not." They will release their debut album in Japan, "SKZ2020," on March 18, 2020.
