The Pokémon Card Game Trainers website has announced that in celebration of the live-action Detective Pikachu film broadcasting for the first time on Nippon TV in Japan, Pokémon Center Online as well as Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store retail locations are releasing a special "scrunchy-face" Detective Pikachu promo card for the TCG game.
The film will broadcast on Nippon TV on May 22 in Japan.
Customers who purchase 5 "Detective Pikachu" expansion packs from Pokémon Center Online will get one bonus Detective Pikachu promo card. Those who purchase the "Detective Pikachu" booster box will get 4 Detective Pikachu promo cards.
The same promotion will run at Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store retail locations throughout Japan once they re-open.
This promotion starts May 22, while supplies last.
