The official website and Twitter page for the TV anime adaptation of Asato Asato's 86 – EIGHTY-SIX light novel series has released cast and staff information.

They've also announced that the series is inspiring a Gakuen 86 manga by Suzume Somemiya in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine.

The Republic of San Magnolia has long been under attack from the neighboring Giadian Empire's army of unmanned drones known as the Legion.
