Kadokawa's livestream commemorating the first anniversary of the "Kimirano" light novel website announced on that Asato Asato's 86 – EIGHTY-SIX light novel series is getting a TV anime.
More information on the anime will be released at a later date.
They've also announced that the series is inspiring a Gakuen 86 manga by Suzume Somemiya in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive magazine.
Yen Press publishes the light novel's in English and describes the story as:

The Republic of San Magnolia has long been under attack from the neighboring Giadian Empire's army of unmanned drones known as the Legion.
