The official website for the stage adaptation of Haruichi Furudate's manga Haikyu!! announced that its ninth show titled "Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyu!! Saikyo no Challenger (The Strongest Challengers)" is set to run in spring of 2020.
The ninth show focuses on the match between Karasuno High School and Inarizaki High School, who have the reputation as the "Strongest Challengers." In the original manga, their match took place on the second day of the National Tournament.
The main cast from the eighth show are reprising their roles.
General sales for advance tickets start February 23, 2020.
