The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Shu and Yoshinori Shizuma's The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants (Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha ~Shijō Saikyō no Maō no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkō e Kayō) light novel series has released a the second promotional video for Season 2 Cour 2, which previews the opening theme song and reveals the ending theme song.
The second ending theme song titled, "Shingetsu" is performed by Tomori Kusunoki.
Shin Oonuma is the chief director for the anime. Masafumi Tamura is the director with Mirai Minato as the assistant director. SILVER LINK is producing the animation. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi is adapting Yoshinori Shizuma's original character designs for animation. Jin Tanaka is writing the scripts. Ryousuke Naya is the sound director, and Keiji Inai is composing the music.

Yuichiro Umehara replaces Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of the lead character Anos.
Season 2 Cour 2 will premiere on April 12, 2024. Cour 2 will adapt the Selection Judgment Arc, the fifth arc of the original light novel series.

Season 2 premiered on January 7, 2023. It will be split into 2 cours. Crunchyroll streams Season 2 as part of their Winter 2023 season lineup.
