The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Shu and Yoshinori Shizuma's The Misfit of Demon King Academy: History's Strongest Demon King Reincarnates and Goes to School with His Descendants (Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha ~Shijō Saikyō no Maō no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkō e Kayō) light novel series has announced that Season 2 Cour 2 will premiere sometime in 2024. Cour 2 will adapt the Selection Judgment Arc, the fifth arc of the original light novel series.
The opening theme song titled, "SEIEN" is performed by Lenny code fiction.
The ending theme song titled, "Esoa" is performed by Momosumomosu.
Yuichiro Umehara replaces Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the voice of the lead character Anos.
Shin Oonuma is the chief director for the anime. Masafumi Tamura is the director with Mirai Minato as the assistant director. SILVER LINK is producing the animation. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi is adapting Yoshinori Shizuma's original character designs for animation. Jin Tanaka is writing the scripts. Ryousuke Naya is the sound director, and Keiji Inai is composing the music.
