The story of Naze Boku no Sekai wo Dare mo Oboeteinai no ka? is set in a magical world after the war between the five great races concludes with a victory for humanity. However, shortly after humanity wins the war, history is somehow “re-written” in front of the eyes of Kai, a human boy. In the new parallel world, creatures such as demons and dragons dominate, and no one remembers Kai. With the help of Rinne, a mysterious girl, Kai inherits the sword of a forgotten hero and sets out to restore his true world and history.
