An official website and Twitter account have been opened with the announcement that yoruhashi's The Kingdoms of Ruin (Hametsu no Oukoku) manga is getting a TV anime adaptation sometime in 2023. The anime's first key visual, and main cast and staff have also been released.
Keitaro Motonaga is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab. Takamitsu Kouno is in charge of the series scripts, and Hiromi Kato is designing the characters. Miki Sakurai, Shu Kanematsu, and Hanae Nakamura are composing the music.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English and describes the series as:
Humanity long lived in harmony with witches, but an advanced scientific revolution has made the powers of a witch unnecessary.
