An official website and Twitter account have been opened with the announcement that Reiji Miyajima's Rent-A-Girlfriend manga is getting a live-action TV drama adaptation in July 2022.
Ryusei Onishi, member of Johnny & Associates' boy idol group Naniwa Danshi, has been cast as the male protagonist Kazuya Kinoshita.
Fashion model and actress Hiyori Sakurada has been cast as the main heroine Chizuru Mizuhara.
The drama will air on Asahi Broadcasting Corporation TV channel and also on TV Asahi.
Daisuke Yamamoto is directing, and Kumiko Asō is writing the scripts.
