The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Syougo Kinugasa and Shunsaku Tomose's Classroom of the Elite (Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e) light novel series has released an updated key visual for the anime project's second season. Kakeru Ryuen joins Ayanokōji, Kushida, Horikita, Ichinose and Sakayanagi in the new visual.
Shoya Chiba (Kiyotaka Ayanokōji) and Yurika Kubo (Kikyō Kushida) are confirmed to be reprising their roles in the second season, along with the rest of the main cast from Season 1.
Season 2 will premiere in July 2022, and the 3rd season is currently in production set for a 2023 premiere.
ZAQ is returning to perform the opening theme for Season 2. Mai Fuchigami will perform the ending theme.
Shoya Chiba (Kiyotaka Ayanokōji) and Yurika Kubo (Kikyō Kushida) are confirmed to be reprising their roles in the second season, along with the rest of the main cast from Season 1.
The anime will adapt the original story's complete first-year-student arc.

The first season's directors Seiji Kishi and Hiroyuki Hashimoto are returning as chief directors, with Yoshihito Nishōji is the credited director at Lerche. Hayato Kazano is now overseeing the series scripts, and Kazuaki Morita is back to design the characters. Ryō Takahashi is also returning to compose the music, joined by Kana Hashiguchi. Satoki Iida is directing the sound.
