The official website and Twitter account for the animated film adaptation of the Bakuten!! (Backflip!!) original TV anime has released a new trailer for the film, which previews the insert song "Hikari no Naka kara Tsutaetai koto" (Something I Want to Tell You from Inside the Light) performed by Centimillimental.
They've also announced that wacci will be performing the film's theme song titled, "Bokura no Ippo" (Our Single Step).
The film will take place during the "Ao High" boys' rhythmic gymnastics team's final challenge at the inter-high tournament.
The film is set to premiere in July 2, 2022 in Japan.

Bakuten!! premiered April 8 on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block in Japan.
Bakuten!! is set in Miyagi Prefecture and joins two other anime titles, Misaki no Mayoiga and Hula Fulla Dance, as part of an initiative to promote Miyagi, Iwate, and Fukushima, respectively. The "Zutto Ōen Project 2011 + 10..." is in remembrance of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami 10 years ago.
Toshimasa Kuroyanagi directed the anime at ZEXCS. Toshizo Nemoto was in charge of series composition and scripts. My Little Monster manga creator Robico drew the original character designs, while Yūki Shibata drew the character designs for animation, and was also the chief animation director.

The anime begins when the protagonist Shotaro Aoba, who was fascinated by men's rhythmic gymnastics in the summer of his third year of junior high, entered Soshukan High School and joined its men's rhythmic gymnastics club. The story follows how he runs together as a team towards a single goal along with his unique seniors and his classmate, Ryoya Misato, who was famous for his junior high school career in men's rhythmic gymnastics.
