The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Miki Yoshikawa's A Couple of Cuckoos manga has announced that the anime will run for two consecutive cours. They've also released a creditless version of th anime's opening animation, featuring the opening theme song by Kiyoe Yoshioka.
Hiroaki Akagi is the chief director of the anime and Yoshiyuki Shirahata is directing the anime at Shin-Ei Animation and Synergy SP. Yasuhiro Nakanishi is overseeing the series scripts, and Aya Takano is designing the characters.
Ikimono-gakari vocalist Kiyoe Yoshioka will be performing the opening theme song titled, "Dekoboko" (Rough).
The ending theme song titled, "Shikaku Unmei" (Square Destiny) will be performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia.
The anime is set to premiere in April 23, 2022 on the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi.
