The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Doufu Mayoi and Kurogin's Black Summoner (Kuro no Shōkanshi) light novel series has released a new key visual, 1st full promotional video, and two new cast members.
Yoshimasa Hiraike is directing the anime at Satelight, and also supervising the series scripts. Miwa Oshima is designing the characters for animation.
J-Novel Club publishes both the novels and the manga adaptation in English, describes the story as:
