The official website and Twitter account for the stage play adaptation of Wataru Watanabe's Yowamushi Pedal manga has released a new teaser visual and cast visuals for the 16th show titled, Butai Yowamushi Pedal The Cadence!
Ryunosuke Shimamura is newly cast as the protagonist Sakamichi Onoda. Shunya Sunagawa and Satsuki Kitano will play Shunsuke Imaizumi and Shokichi Naruko, respectively.
February 1st marked the 10th anniversary of the stage play adaptations.
Kousuke Kujirai, who has played the character Junta Teshima in previous plays, will now direct the new stage play. Shatner Nishida returns to direct as the chief director, and will write the script of the new stage play.
Various streaming services in Japan including d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai began to stream all 15 of the stage plays in the franchise on February 1.
