The official website and Twitter account for the second season of the TV anime adaptation of Alifred Yamamoto's Rikei ga Koi no Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita (Science Fell in Love, so I Tried to Prove It) manga, titled Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shōmei Shite Mita. r=1-sinθ (Science Fell in Love, so I Tried to Prove It. r=1-sinθ), has released the opening and ending animations for the anime.
The manga debuted on G-mode's Comic Meteor website in 2016. A live-action TV series of the manga premiered in September 2018 and aired for four episodes. A live-action film premiered in February 2019.
Sora Amamiya will be performing the second season's opening theme song titled, "Love-Evidence," which is set to be released on May 11, 2022 as her 13th single. Sora Amamiya is also the voice of series heroine, Ayame Himuro.
CHiCO with HoneyWorks meets Mafumafu will be performing the second season's ending theme song titled, "Bibitto Love," which will be released as CHiCO with HoneyWorks' 17th single on May 18, 2022.
The anime will be premiering on April 1, 2022 on TOKYO MX, Hokkaido Cultural Broadcasting, TV Nagasaki, Sun TV, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS Fuji, and other stations.
Crunchyroll will stream Season 2 as part of their Spring 2022 season lineup.
