Marvelous has announced the next show from the stage play adaptation of Wataru Watanabe's Yowamushi Pedal manga titled, Butai Yowamushi Pedal The Cadence!, is set to be performed in Tokyo and Osaka in Summer 2022.
February 1st marks the 10th anniversary of the stage play adaptations.
Kousuke Kujirai, who has played the character Junta Teshima in previous plays, will now direct the new stage play. Shatner Nishida returns to direct as the chief director, and will write the script of the new stage play.
Various streaming services in Japan including d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai will stream all 15 of the stage plays in the franchise on February 1.
