The official website and Twitter account for MAPPA and Masafumi Nishida's new original water polo TV anime RE-MAIN has released announced 4 new cast members and theme song artists.
Shugo Nakamura will be performing the ending theme song titled, "Kowareta Sekai no Byōshin wa" (The Second Hand of a Broken World).
The anime is set to premiere July 3, 2021.

Our first original Japanese song, "Forget Me Not," has been chosen as the opening theme song for the anime "RE-MAIN!
"I'm moving forward!" "Overcome yourself!" The lyrics of "Forget Me Not" are based on the keywords "move forward!" It's an exhilarating song for summer, as if it represents a page from our youth. Please look forward to it!
Living life means making a lot of choices, and I'm sure there have been times when I've thought, "I should have done that."
That's what I was thinking about when I wrote the song!

Masafumi Nishida is serving as co-creator, chief director, series script supervisor and scriptwriter for each episode, and audio director.
Kiyoshi Matsuda is directing the anime at MAPPA under Nishida's supervision. Kaori Huto is designing the original character concepts, and Shiho Tanaka is adapting those designs for animation. Kana Utatane is composing the music.
The main character, Minato Shimizu, quit playing water polo in the winter of his third year of junior high school after an incident.
He enters a high school and starts playing water polo with the friends he met there after making a promise.
However, the weak water polo club is faced with a variety of difficulties.
The anime is set to premiere July 3, 2021.
