The official website and Twitter account for Ryōma! Shinsei Gekijōban Tennis no Ōji-sama (Ryōma! Rebirth The Prince of Tennis: The Movie), the 3DCG anime film adaptation for the The Prince of Tennis franchise has released a clip from the film that previews the "rap festival" rap battle.
Original manga creator Takeshi Konomi is supervising the film and writing all the insert songs for the film. Hiroshi Koujina is directing the anime at The Monk Studios and Keica with cooperation by Studio KAI. GaGa is distributing the film. Takehiko Hata is writing the scripts, Patricia Hishikawa is the CG supervisor, Kei Yoshimizu is the animation director, and Momoko Yamada is the CG director. Takeshi Takadera is the sound director, and Kei Tsuda is composing the music.
The film will play in theaters in two versions, "Decide" and "Glory." The "Decide" version focuses on Kunimitsu Tezuka and Seiichi Yukimura. The "Glory" version focuses on Keigo Atobe and Kuranosuke Shiraishi.
The film's official Twitter also teases that "that character" who is not yet included in this visual may also appear in the film.
The cast from the TV anime is returning for the film.
Ryōma! Rebirth The Prince of Tennis: The Movie will premiere in Japan on September 3, 2021.

The original characters will rap to lyrics written by original manga creator Takeshi Konomi.
The film features an original story set in the three-month period between Takeshi Konomi's The Prince of Tennis and The New Prince of Tennis manga series'.
The film's story takes place in the past in America. Three days after the finals of the National Tournament, the protagonist Ryōma Echizen goes on a tennis training trip to America by himself. When he arrives there, he encounters his classmate Sakuno Ryuzaki, who is also visiting the country on a family trip, is being tangled up with gang members. When the ball Ryōma throws to save her collides with another ball thrown by a mysterious person in a wheelchair, time and space get distorted, and the two are traveled back to the time when Ryōma's father was known as Samurai Nanjiro in America.
