HIDIVE has announced that they will stream the TV anime adaptation of Takahiro and Yōhei Takemura's Mato Seihei no Slave (Slave of the Magic Capital's Elite Troops) manga in Winter 2024.
They will hold the North American premiere of the anime's first two episodes on November 17 at this year's Anime NYC event in New York City.
Akari Kitō will be performing the anime's opening theme song.
Crunchyroll has announced that the English title for the Mato Seihei no Slave anime is Chained Soldier.
Chained Soldier is set to premiere in January 2023.

Junji Nishimura is the anime's general director. Gorō Kuji is directing the anime at Seven Arcs. Yasuhiro Nakanishi is handling the series composition. Ryōta Kanō and Akira Kindaichi are writing the script. Hiroyuki Yoshii is designing the characters. Kaoru Nishimura is in charge of color design.
KEY VISUAL:
In Mato Seihei no Slave, a dimension known as Mato has opened and introduced a grave threat to humanity. The only hope lies in a unique type of peach tree, the fruit of which can grant special powers to women. The story kicks off when a boy named Yuki Wakura meets one of those women, Captain of the 7th Anti-Demon Squad Kyoka Uzen.
