Crunchyroll announced that the TV anime adaptation of Bokuto Uno and Ruria Miyuki's Reign of the Seven Spellblades (Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai Suru) light novel series will be joining their Summer 2023 anime season lineup.

Yen Press publishes the series in English and describes it as:
Springtime at Kimberly Magic Academy, when new students begin their first year. One boy, clad in black robes with a white cane and sword strapped to his hip, approaches the prestigious school. This young man—Oliver—must form a bond with a katana wielding girl named Nanao if he's to survive the dangers he's to face at this school that is anything but what it seems!
The opening theme song titled, "Kenka" (Sword Flower) will be performed by Kujira Yumemi feat. Mimizuku and Fukurō.
The ending theme song titled, "Aimu" will be performed by Kujira Yumemi feat. Tsumushachi.
Reign of the Seven Spellblades is set to premiere on July 7, 2023.
